Weezer has revealed plans for a major North American tour titled “Weezer: The Gathering,” set to run this fall. The 32-date arena trek, produced by Live Nation, begins September 8 in Sacramento and wraps October 24 in their hometown of Los Angeles. Along the way, the band will hit major cities including Chicago, Toronto, and New York, joined by special guests The Shins and Silversun Pickups.

The upcoming run follows a string of high-profile outings, including their anniversary-focused “Voyage to the Blue Planet” tour celebrating three decades of their debut album, as well as the global Hella Mega stadium tour alongside Green Day and Fall Out Boy.

Ahead of the tour, the band is hosting a weeklong series of fan-focused happenings in Los Angeles called “Weezer: The Gathering – Initiation Week.” The lineup includes a trivia night at Barney’s Beanery, a pickleball tournament where fans can face off against the band, and other surprise pop-up events across the city.

Weezer is also set to release a new single, “Shine Again,” on April 1—confirmed not to be a prank. The track will mark their first release under Reprise Records/Warner Records and serves as an early preview of an upcoming, as-yet-untitled album.

In addition to touring and new music, the band has stayed busy with special releases, including a multi-LP vinyl collection of their “color” albums and a Record Store Day 2026 compilation of early demos and rarities.

Tickets for “Weezer: The Gathering” will roll out in phases. Fan club members can access an artist pre-sale starting March 31 at 10 a.m. local time, with additional pre-sales available to Verizon and Citi customers the same day. General ticket sales begin April 3 at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster.
